People are members or clients associated with your case, such as children, parents, other family members, teachers, and doctors. Each case contains a list of people connected to that case, and when you open a person (purple person icon or profile photo), you'll see more information.

Viewing person details

Where applicable, you can view important information about a person or an address by clicking View info in the Important Information panel.

You can also click View details in the person header to view even more information about the person, to add or remove a profile photo (limited to GIF, JPEG, PJPEG, PNG, or TIFF files), or to edit or delete the person if you have the necessary agency permissions.

A person's date of birth and age appear under their name in search results and where they're connected.

You'll see People panels in different parts of Traverse:

  • The People panel on the case overview page (green folder icon) lists the first five people connected to the case, with the case heads listed first.

  • The People panel on the person overview page (purple person icon or profile photo) or organization overview page (blue building icon) lists the first five people connected to the person or organization.

People and connections

When you click View connections above the People panel on a case, a person, or an organization overview page, you’ll see the list of connections to cases, people, and organizations. Click on a case, person, or organization to view the associated overview page.

Subject to agency permissions, you'll also see the Find and connect panel where you can search or create new connections.

Below are the actions you can take when you view a person:

*If you navigate to the virtual prints page from a person, that connection will appear in the right-hand panel.
