When Traverse reads content for a person, it discovers possible connections from those content items and provides you with a list of suggested connections.

To see the List of relationships for a person, select the Discovery tab, then Relationships.

The List of relationships will display the people already connected in Traverse and populate the information in the List of relationships including the name, alias, date of birth, date of death, age, and contact information. You can change this information and photo* on this list by selecting Edit connection under the Actions column.

*Please note: the information updated in the List of relationships does not update the person's page in Traverse.

Traverse will help find possible relationships in the Suggested connections section. Select the name to open the associated content. Easily add a suggested connection by clicking the +Add to list button. You can then edit the connection and provide additional information about that relationship. If you want to remove a relationship from the list, edit the connection and select Delete from list. This will return the relationship to the Suggested connections section.

Traverse can help you discover new relationships by analyzing connected content items. When new content is added to the person, you'll see the Discover new people button in the Suggested connections section. After clicking the button, you can navigate away and return to this section later to see the results.

You can also add to the List of relationships by clicking the +New connection button. You can Search Traverse for existing people or simply Add new if the person is not in Traverse.
