Please note: This feature might not be the best fit for some agencies, so not all Traverse users will be able to access it. To learn more, contact your Northwoods Account Manager.

Case Aide Services by Northwoods provides dedicated support for caseworkers. Case aides handle time-consuming administrative tasks for you and your team via the Case Aide Services app.

Logging in

The Case Aide Services mobile app is connected to the Traverse web app. You'll use the mobile app to message your case aide, and your case aide will reply to you from the web app.

When you first launch the mobile app, you'll be prompted to enter your organization name. Your organization name is the first part of the URL in the Traverse web app, as in organization.northwoodstraverse.com.
โ€‹If you don't know your organization name, try your county and state abbreviation.

Phone

Tablet

Once you enter your organization name, you'll be prompted to enter your Traverse username and password. These are your credentials from the Traverse web app.

Cases

Your cases are either pulled from your agency's system of record, from Traverse, or your case aide has created them for you. Cases are used to help you organize messages with your case aide.

Only open cases will appear in the list.

You can use the search bar to find and send requests for non-assigned and closed cases.

Messaging

Just tap the Messages button to send a message your case aide. When your case aide messages you back, you can tap into the push notification or case to return to the conversation.
โ€‹
For example, you could ask your case aide to make a referral to a provider, or to request records from a provider. You could also ask your case aide to create notes from a recent visitation or help you prepare for a court hearing.

To send a file in your message, click the plus button for the following options:

  1. take a photo with your device

  2. select from the gallery

  3. record a video

  4. upload a file

Tickets

To view a list of tickets for each case, click the Tickets button from either

  1. the home screen

  2. the messages screen

You can expand each ticket to view the details of the request as well as notes added to the ticket.
