Introducing a collaborator to Traverse Connect

Provide an overview of Traverse Connect to collaborators.

Agency workers: This article is written for the collaborators you add to cases. You can send them this article to help them get started.


If you've been invited to Traverse, an agency worker has asked you to work with content (static documents) or fillable forms on a case. Now you can share and receive these items in a secure system.

You'll receive an automated Welcome email from no-reply@northwoodstraverse.com.

Click on the Get Started with Traverse link* to create a password for your collaborator account. Your account username is automatically set to your email address.

Once you click that link, follow these steps to set your account password and get into Traverse:

  1. Enter a password in the top field to set your password.

  2. Reenter the password in the bottom field to Confirm your password.

  3. Click the arrow button. You're in Traverse!

*The link expires after it's clicked, or after 5 days if it's not clicked. For single sign-on users, this link will prompt you to enter those credentials. If the link has expired, contact the worker that invited you so they can resend the Welcome email to you!

After you access your Traverse account for your first case, agency workers can add you to more cases. Your Traverse account is a long-term connection to the agency and any work you typically share.
