With your agency digital assistant, Ada, you and your coworkers can get easy and consistent answers to your agency-specific questions. Your agency will assemble a knowledge base of content, then you can ask questions based on that content. For example, you could ask Ada where you should store certain photos per your agency's policies.

Ada is included as part of the Case discovery feature access, but system administrators will need to be in a group with the Ada administration feature access included to set it up for their users.

Setup instructions

For Ada to answer questions, system administrators will need to upload content ("resources") for her to reference. Resources can be uploaded from the gear icon > Ada management > Upload a resource.

Note that for resources:

  • You can upload audio, document, image, text, and video file types. TIF/TIFF and TXT files can be used, but the files cannot be previewed within the messages sent by Ada.

  • Once uploaded, only resources in the Completed status (as indicated in the table of resources) will be used by Ada. You may need to refresh your browser to see this status.

    • You can click on a resource file to preview it.

  • To delete resources you've uploaded, click Delete resource in the resource's row.

To use Ada

Ada is accessed from the Traverse Resource Center.

Traverse Resource Center

Click the question mark icon at the bottom right corner of the screen > Ask Ada, then ask Ada a question.

Ada can build on conversations if you need to follow up on an answer, but note that your questions from prior sessions will not be saved.

You can see what resources Ada uses to answer your questions in the Available resources section and preview each one from the list.
