Record audio in the field to connect to a case, client, or service provider.

When you add an audio recording from a case, person, or organization, it'll be connected to that case/person/organization. When you add an audio recording from the main Traverse screen, it won't be connected to anything, but you can connect the audio file to a case, person, or organization later.

  1. Tap the plus icon on the left side of the screen.

  2. Tap Record Audio. You may need to allow Traverse to access the microphone.

  3. Select a content type for the audio recording.
    The recording starts immediately, and a red microphone icon appears. You can continue to navigate around Traverse during the recording.

  4. To stop the recording, tap the red microphone icon.
    The recording stops, and the audio file is saved and added as a content item.

You can see a transcription of the audio recording on the web application when you open the content item (see All about the content item window).
