When you capture a document from a case, person, or organization, it'll be connected to that case/person/organization. When you capture a document from the main Traverse screen, it will not be connected to anything, but you can connect the document to a case, person, or organization later.

  1. Tap the plus icon on the left side of the screen.

  2. Tap Capture a Document. You may need to allow Traverse to access the camera.

  3. Select a content type for the document.
The camera opens, allowing you to capture single or multiple document pages.
โ€‹If you're capturing a light document on a dark background, Traverse will attempt to auto-crop the photo to fit the document.

  4. Tap the camera button on the right side of the screen.
A preview thumbnail appears at the bottom of the screen. If you don't like the photo of the document, you can tap the thumbnail and delete it. You can also reorder the thumbnails by long pressing a thumbnail and moving it to the desired location.

  5. Optional - To rotate the photo of the document, tap the preview thumbnail.

  6. When you're finished capturing document pages, tap Save.
The document is added as a content item.
